KARA’s Facebook Update

Special donation by the boy band, Block B’s international fan club. 

The donation was gathered by fan club members all over the world to celebrate one of the band members, Taeil’s birthday. The participated nationals include: USA, Canada, Brazil, Peru, Mexico, Spain, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Finland, UK, and France. 

All contribution will be used to treat the recently rescued Maltese dog. She was found with broken leg with much developed blood clots from bad bruises at a shelter we visited. 

More will be updated throughout her progress. 

Big thanks to Block B’s fanclub for making this special contribution for animals.

“Block B’s fanclub donates $1,133.00 USD to charity for member Lee Taeil’s birthday”

Recently, Block B released an OST for the MBC drama “The Thousandth Man” titled “Your Umbrella.” Pia and Block B’s Zico also collaborated to release an OST for the MBC drama “Golden Time” titled “Oasis.” They also released a music video for “Oasis” as well. Additionally, member Zico also hinted at the groups possiblecomeback to the Korean music industry. 

On September 24th, Block B’s Taeil celebrated his birthday. For Taeil’s birthday gift this year, international and domestic BBCs (Block B’s fanclub) decided to collect donations for charity. Taeil openly shows his love for animals, so the fanclub decided to select the Korean Animal Rights Advocates (KARA) as the charity to receive the donation. They set their donation goal to $500 USD, however, when the project was completed, they had collected $1133.00 USD!

Along with the proof of their donation, Taeil’s fans sent him a message book and other gifts for his birthday. The donation will be used to treat a dog who has been suffering due to a car accident. KARA will be updating the fanclub with pictures showing her progress.

For Block B’s Lee Taeil’s birthday (Sept 24th), BBC’s started a charity project as a gift for him. Since Taeil has often shown his love for animals, an animal rights organization, the Korea Animal Rights Advocates ( aka KARA), was the decided charity. The goal was to raise $500, but BBC’s managed to raise a total of $1,133 USD. This is the first time international BBC’s have raised this amount. The donations are going directly towards helping a recently abandoned dog who has been suffering from a car crash accident. We wanted to do something good towards society while celebrating Taeil’s birthday.

Countries who donated: USA, Canada, South Korea, Brazil, Peru, Mexico, Spain, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Finland, England, UK, and France.
